Volunteer as a marshal
We are always on the lookout for volunteers to help out on race day. Without the amazing help from our volunteers, it would be very difficult to run the event. If you can’t help out for the whole day, that’s fine, as there are various jobs that need people at the start or end of the day, or a few hours in between. All offers of help are greatly appreciated.
If you are new to the sport, and not sure what to expect, it’s a great way of finding out what happens on race day.
Anyone who volunteers will be rewarded with a free entry into another event, for either you or your partner, or a friend.
If you have entered one of our events but are unfortunately now injured, then volunteering is a great way to still take part, and you will essentially get a free deferred entry into another event.
Volunteer jobs include:
Marking the course
Marshaling the course or at checkpoints
Helping at feed stations
Car park marshal
Registration and kit check
Finish timings and handing out t-shirts
Sweep runner and clearing course makings
